My Approach
Therapy should be collaborative
In my work, I don’t see my role as telling you what to do. You are the expert on your life, and my role is to support, guide, and sometimes challenge you in a way that feels safe and empowering. Whether you're working through anxiety, depression, past trauma, relationship struggles, or just feeling stuck, we’ll work as a team to find the right path forward—at your pace and in a way that feels right for you.
How I work
For the mental health nerds, I tend to use a mix of the Narrative and Solution-Focused models. To avoid getting into too much therapy jargon, I believe that discomfort and pain usually come from the discrepancy between the story we tell about ourselves based on our experiences, and the values that we have developed throughout our lives that point to the story we want to tell. My process is to help you understand your story, identify your strengths and values, then create actionable goals together to rewrite your story to match those strengths and values!
